100 Days

When you know it’s not going to be the same again

But destiny is something you can never plan

So pack your bags and go on to live your freedom

A new phase of life awaits for you to welcome.

There are buildings here- tall and shining

And like every cloud, there is a silver lining

Each day will be new, you begin to harness

With days, you see a bigger change happen in the process.

When a hundred days can move you to the core

Homesickness that you can conquer

Overshadowing your demons

Fighting back rage, emptiness and sermons

When you know that, every day is meant to be new

Some will inspire and some will devastate you

When you know, none can give your definition

The idea will dawn then, that, mind is the only prison.

When friends begin to go away

And you leave all sadness for another day

That’s when strangers are strangers no more

A short life with sweetness you learn to adore.

On this evening of Christmas, as the Santa flies

You wish him to bring you gifts, crossing skies

Nobody thinks where does Uncle Santa get those from?

Your arrival will be Christmas when you go home.
